Cram Jam a Huge Hit

By: David Jacob

On Sunday, December 6th, QU held their annual Cram Jam to kick off finals week.  This event is held every semester the Sunday leading into finals week.  It is an event where students can attend and put the stress of finals away for a couple of hours.

Free of charge, Cram Jam offered a variety of events to let the students relax for a little.  In the Cafeteria there was breakfast served by the faculty and staff.  Santa and Mrs. Clause were also in attendance.

Downstairs by the bookstore, there were multiple stations to relax.  The first was a massage room where students could receive a free 10 minute back and shoulder massage.  Around the corner included a wax station where students could dip their hands in wax and make their hands silky smooth.  Also, there was a hand massage station as well as an ornament making station.  To top it off, in the Hawks Nest, there were puppies for all to pet.

“This is a perfect way to relax the body from all the stress of finals week,” said freshman Anna Konczak.

The event is hosted by multiple clubs on campus, and even the faculty and staff got involved.

“I thought it was extremely nice to see some professors, and even our president working in order to make this week a little more bearable,” said sophomore Jake Hemphill.

If one happened to miss the event, QU will be hosting the same event next semester.  It is something one does not want to miss.
