The Quincy University athletic department will host a tailgate open to all fans from noon – 3 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 28) before the QU men’s basketball GLVC Tournament game against McKendree.

The tailgate will be just outside the south entrance to Pepsi Arena. Local food vendor Butcher Block will have food available for purchase and fans and students are invited to bring refreshments to enjoy in the hours leading up to the 3:15 p.m. tip-off. The forecasted high temperature on Sunday is 65 degrees.

The Hawks are the No. 7 seed in the tournament and are vying to advance to their first GLVC Tournament quarterfinal since 2010. Tickets for the general public will be available at the door.
