The Lady Hawks ranked No. 4 heading into tournament play finished off their conference play with a solid victory over Truman State. With it being senior night it was nice to go out with a bang. The women are 23-41 overall and 14-4 in the GLVC. They look to clench the GLVC title for the first time in several years. Their game kicks off Thursday March 3, at 6 p.m. The winner will play the winning team between No. 1 Lewis and No. 8 Indianapolis in the semifinals at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (March 5). The women’s championship game is set for 1 p.m. Sunday (March 6).
The Men unfortunalty did not have the same luck, they fell 83-82 to the Bulldogs. The Hawks ranked No. 7 play Drury with tip-off starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 4th. The winner will move to the semifinals on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. to play the winning team between No. 3 UW-Parkside and No. 6 Truman. The men’s championship game will be played Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
