David Jacob was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference PNC Player of the Week. This is the second QU baseball player to be honored with Ryan Snyder capturing last weeks award. Jacob being one of the key players for the Hawks is already off to a good season start, hitting .643 on the weekend

The junior first baseman earned three RBI with a double and a home run. The Junior first baseman scored four runs on the weekend with an on base percentage of .706 and a slugging percentage of .929. Jacob struck out once all weekend and finished with 31 putouts, one assist, and no errors defensively.
