QU Students Prep For Spring Break
By Nate Perez
Spring break is approaching next week and many students are looking for plans to make the most out of their vacation. The typical Hollywood portrayal of spring break is usually parties on the beach with all of your closest friends, but that’s not always how it goes.
Students choose to spend their spring break in a variety of ways such as mission trips, sports, family time and even class work. QU Media asked students and professors about their plans for the upcoming break.
Senior Jessica Wicinski:
Junior Sam Wilson:
Senior Annie Arment:
Dr. Barbara Schleppenbach:
Senior Brady White: “I’m going to the Ozarks for a couple of days with my roommates from last year. We’ll just be hanging out on the lake, seeing what’s going on around the town and enjoying the week.”
Freshman Rita Kaneva: “2 through the 5 I will be in St. Louis shopping and sightseeing with Mary Argana. 6 through the 10 I will be at Fort Meyers playing tennis with my team. The last few days I will be back home in Toronto at a Frat Formal.”
Sophomore Aaron Stone: “I will be spending most of my time at Quincy playing baseball and practicing. Besides that I may go home and see my family when I can, but baseball will be most of my week.”
