Halloween Haunts for a Scary Good Time

As Halloween approaches, there is no shortage of fall and holiday-themed events around the area.
Haunted Houses
Haunted Hollows Haunted Trail
- Palmyra, MO
- Friday and Saturday nights in October from 7:30 to 11:00
- Tickets: $10 per person
- To get there from Hannibal, take Highway 61 North
- From Palmyra, take Highway 61 South
- Then, turn on to Highway F and look for signs
Hannibal Haunted Church
- 515 Lyon Street, Hannibal, MO
- Friday and Saturday nights in October and every night Oct. 27 to Nov. 1 from 7:30 to midnight
- Tickets: $10 per person ($7 for 12 and under)
Hannibal Jaycees Haunted House- Warehouse of Nightmares
- 320 South 3rd Street, Hannibal, MO
- Open Friday and Saturday nights in October from 7:30 to midnight
- Zombie Paintball as well as The Last Ride, where you can see what it feels like to be buried alive, are also available
- Tickets: $10 per person for the house only
Haunted House and 40 paint balls: $15; additional games of paintball cost $5

Hannibal POPS Club’s Haunted Woods

- Open Saturday nights in October from dark until 11:00
- Tickets: $10 per person

Pumpkin Patches and Mazes
Mill Creek
- 2833 South 48th Street, Quincy, IL
- Open weekends in October from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Free hay rides and corn maze
Parker’s Corn Maze
- 5532 Highway 61 North, Hannibal, MO
- Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Nov. 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Night maze will be open on Saturday, Oct. 22, and Saturday Oct. 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
- Admission: $8 per person on for regular times; $10 per person for night maze
Miscellaneous Events
Woodland Cemetery Tours
- 1020 South 5th Street, Quincy, IL
- Presented by The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County
- Guided tours on Oct. 15 and 31 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Full ghost tours on Oct. 22 and 29 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

JWCC Zombie Obstacle Run
- 1301 South 48th Street, Quincy, IL (JWWC Campus)
- Held on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
- Runners can dress up as zombies
- $40 registration fee
- Fill out a registration form here and return to JWCC’s Business Office or register online
Halloween Art Crawl
- Hosted by Quincy Art Center
- Held on Friday, Oct. 28 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
- 18 local venues in Quincy, IL, and Canton, MO, will feature local artists and offer programming or entertainment
- Free of charge to participate, but some venues may charge for activities and/or refreshments
Haunted Hannibal Ghost Tours
- Tours depart from 220 North Main Street, Hannibal MO (Hannibal History Museum)
- Open nightly at 7:00 p.m. from May through October.
- Tickets: $15 per person
- Tickets can be purchased from the History Museum

90s Dance Pre-Halloween Party
