Quincy University’s Late Night Cafe Menu filled with Temptation

by Marc Everhart
Let’s face it, we all get those late night cravings. As a college student, eating out all the time can become quite costly. The cafe on campus at Quincy University is open until 10:00 pm, the perfect place to go to grab a bite to eat after hours. Despite being convenient to students on-campus, the cafe has some limited menu options that could be challenging for those who are health conscious. The late night menu includes items such as chicken strips, cheeseburgers and personal pizzas. While all these foods are amazing in their own special way, eating them at the time of night can be detrimental over time. Quincy University athlete Dante’ Flowers shared his thoughts on the menu. “Sometimes the cheeseburgers and fries are a bit too much. Especially when eating them night after night”. The cafe could benefit from expanding the late night menu to include things such as deli sandwiches, and larger salad options. The students that are health conscious on-campus should be considered when constructing a menu. We all love cheeseburgers and pizzas, but not every single day. Open up the menu a little bit. Variety is the spice of life.
