Sometimes its not what you know, but who you know. Its extremely important to develop networking skills in order to establish connections, promote your skills and get your foot in the door at your perspective careers. Quincy University is hosting a Speed Networking event designed to help improve your networking skills on Wednesday November 11th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. At this event, students will be able to network with various people from around the area, and learn how networking is such an integral part of becoming successful in the professional world. Appetizers will be available at this event as well. In order to attend, students must sign up at the SSC front desk. Dress is business causal. Make sure to bring your resume in order for professionals to review and critique it accordingly. This event will be held in the Hall of Fame room located in the HFC building. Come on out and learn how to interact with professionals, and how they expect you to present yourself in the professional world.
