As supporters chanted and cheered for their Lady Hawks, the atmosphere was outstanding! “I enjoyed watching the girls play, they played well and they played hard.” Senior Daniel Lee said during the end of the game. “I actually haven`t ever got to make to a girls game, but I enjoyed this one,” Lee stated.

The Lady Hawks ran the court and dominated to take the win for Senior night.

As the Men tip-off approached, at about 7:00pm,  the crowd got bigger and the arena became louder.

Going into the Men`s game the arena began get pretty warmer than usual from so many supports and their body heat.

“I usually sit here in this section at every game and it`s never been this crowded, it`s chaos to even get up and go to the concession stand or bathroom, said Paige Lee.

As the game began, the Men won their tip-off as well and started off pretty strong. They had a lead in the first half. After halftime the Bulldogs game out differently and the game shifted. Bulldogs and Hawks were neck to neck and constantly tied throughout the second half.

In the final seconds Truman State Bulldogs took the lead, and with .5 seconds left on the game clock, Hawks could do nothing with the ball and lost the game by 1 point.

“These type of game make me anxious and give me a headache, but the boys still played hard and I think they could have still won,” P.Lee also stated.
