Hawks Dominate in Rolla

ROLLA, Mo –The Quincy University men’s and women’s basketball teams got back on track Saturday (Jan. 30) after falling to Drury Thursday (Jan. 28). The women defeated Missouri S&T 69-56 while the men took home the win with a 109-96 victory.
The women had a balanced game with multiple players scoring in double figures. Anika Webster led the Lady Hawks with 15 points. Erin Mennemeyer scored 12 points which all came in the second half. Nikia Edom finished with nine points and Megan Wienstroer scored 11 points off the bench.
The men also had multiple players in double figures. Senior Godson Eneogwe scored a career-high 32 points with Herm Senor following with his career-high 29 points along with eight assists. Senior Evan McGaughey had 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Quincy hits the road once again to face off with Indianapolis (Jan. 4), the women playing at 5:30 p.m. and the men following at 6:45 p.m.
