Noise, laughter, and unforgettable adventures filled the days as Quincy University students embarked on an international journey packed with exploration and excitement.

The trip created lifelong memories—and even a little jet lag—for six students and one professor. Despite the exhaustion that lingered for days, participants agreed the experience was more than worth it.

“To future students I would say make what you want of the trip. It’s an incredible opportunity, so take full advantage, ” Madison Hester said.

From standing inside an Olympic stadium to marveling at the mystery of Stonehenge, students immersed themselves in history at every turn. Some even pushed past personal fears—like conquering a fear of heights while walking across London Bridge, high above the water below.

Another unforgettable moment came at the top of London’s tallest building, where open windows and sudden gusts of wind caught students off guard, adding to the thrill.

Between sightseeing, students stopped by the famous Borough Market to grab lunch and experience local flavors.

The adventure didn’t stop there. A quick flight to Dublin expanded the trip even further, taking students from iconic British museums to the famous Guinness Brewery. The group also traveled to the coastline, watching powerful waves crash against the shore.

“My favorite part was definitely seeing the beauty of the cliffs, got to see the waves coming in and birds flying it was just really beautiful,” Luke Gertken said.

One coastal tour proved to be colder than expected, but spirits remained high.

The trip offered more than sightseeing—it gave students a chance to experience new cultures, challenge themselves, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
