Congratulations Jack Gamache AKA Mr. 1000!

On Friday, February 26th, in a match against conference foe IPFW, senior men’s volleyball player, Jack Gamache, reached an incredible milestone of 1,000 career kills!
He became the 5th player in QU men’s volleyball history to earned the honor.

In a recent interview, Gamache shared his thoughts on his career thus far and recent acknowledgement:
Q.] If you could sum up your career thus far with one sentence, what would it be?
A.) A blessing.
Q.] Was 1000 kills a personal goal of yours?
A.) 1000 kills was a goal I’ve always wanted to reach and it finally became a reality.
Q.] What are other goals you want to reach?
A.) I want to break the career aces aces record that has been here for awhile.
Q.] What are your plans for after graduation?
A.) After graduation I plan either to go over seas and play volleyball or pursue onto a masters degree program through a graduate assistant position somewhere.
Q.] How would you describe the difference between your freshman year and your senior year?
A.) The confidence myself and our team has against the best teams in country… We can go into any game fearing none.
